As your self-titled local aquatic experts, I think that the good crew here at CitySightseeing New York have a qualified seafood palate. That is why we put together a list of some of our favorite seafood restaurants that are participating in the first Restaurant Week in 2013. That’s not to say that you shouldn’t try all of the seafood restaurants participating this season (they’re all fantastic), but these top our list:
There is so much chowder in Ed’s house! They serve both Manhattan style and New England style, plus their own signature styles.
Highly rated restaurants don’t often participate in Restaurant Week. When people have to make reservations weeks in advance, you’re not going to financially do much better by creating special prix fixe meals. Well, don’t tell that to Esca, which has an exemplary 3-star review from the New York Times.
Estiatorio Milos is another high-end restaurant jumping onto the Restaurant Week bandwagon. Normally very high priced, take advantage of the prix fixe meals through February 8.
Delicious food right in the heart of New York City! The Seas Grill’s Rockefeller Center location lends itself to the tourist inside all of us. Hit the city for a day full of sightseeing and then sit down in 30 Rock for a delectable seafood dinner.
Restaurant Week 2013 begins on January 14th and runs through February 8th. Make your reservations now.
